At Ramoth Baptist Church, we are striving to create an environment where worship is multigenerational. Everyone is involved - I love to see the 8 year old singing the great hymns of our faith and the 80 year old singing the latest worship anthem. It thrills my soul to see someone pick up an instrument and begin playing after 20 years. The “greying of the choir” doesn’t apply here. Sure, we have older members who help to lead in worship as they have for generations but we also have musicians and singers who are still in their teens.
Our praise band, instrumental ensemble, praise team, and choir all take part in praise and worship each Sunday - in fact, RBC has been praising and worshipping the Savior since 1866! Our children’s choirs sing every quarter and our youth lead us in worship with their own praise band and drama teams. But make no mistake about it, worship is so much more than music. It is exalting God. It is giving Him the glory He so truly deserves. It is the maturing in our understanding of the Word and being drawn into an intimate relationship with the Father through the Son. We would love to have you join us and help lead others in worship through our Exalted Worship Ministry.
