Because what students need today is a genuine place of REFUGE...

And what the world so desperately requires is a REVOLUTION...

Our youth ministry volunteers are screened, trained, dedicated and passionate about raising up a generation of teenagers to LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, and CHANGE THEIR WORLD. We do this because we know it's NOT about us...BECAUSE IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS!

As a community of refuge for all people, we are always striving to create an environment where students (grades 6-12) have a real sense of belonging and are able to experience Jesus, resolving to always follow Him as Savior and as Lord. In partnership with parents, it is our greatest hope to build in teenagers today a lifetime faith characterized by genuine WORSHIP, ministry SERVICE, and personal DISCIPLESHIP.

Early followers of Jesus - missionaries of the known world in the first century - earned an awesome reputation. Their critics declared in Acts 17:6, "Those men who have turned the world upside-down have come here too!" We believe God is raising up our students to be the catalyst for that kind of Gospel revival in our society. And we are hoping your teens will join us in this revolution of LOVE to transform the world.

Parents, we invite you to visit our youth facility during any of our ministry programs to meet our volunteer leaders and see the engaging, affirming, fun, and biblical discipleship they will be receiving.

Sundays in the Youth Room (Ground Level Room 104)

9:30-10:30 AM

Each week, one of our incredible youth leaders will facilitate a lesson currently from RightNowMedia's TRUTH & GRACE SERIES using interactive teaching, question & answer sessions, games, creative learning activities, multi-media presentations, and more.

The Gospel Project helps students center their lives on the gospel, replacing the desire to be “good” with the empowering transformation that comes only from Jesus Christ. These group Bible studies are designed to get as much gospel into your students’ lives as possible, helping them connect to a gospel-filled support system and equipping them for gospel conversations in their community.

Wednesdays from 6:05-7:30 PM (Dinner at 5 PM)

Meets in the Youth Room, Ground Level Room 104

Wednesday evenings, for most families, begin in the Fellowship Hall for dinner but we soon move to our discipleship classes for kids (AWANA), teenagers (D-Groups) and yes, adults too. We gather in the youth room for worship, announcements, and to introduce the lesson topic for the evening but move quickly to the small group time where students are divided into age- and gender-appropriate D-Groups led by our awesome leaders!

Discipleship Groups are where the rubber meets the road for students' faith! We will regularly tackle the issues teens are facing head-on to see where life and Scripture intersect because following Jesus impacts every area of our lives.

Rehearsals on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 PM (starting back soon!)

Meets in the Youth Room, Ground Level Room 104

Students are invited to participate in our worship choir, praise team, instrumental ensemble and any other worship ministry at Ramoth Baptist Church but many also choose to be part of the REFUGE student praise band that uses modern praise and worship anthems as well as contemporary arrangements of time-honored hymns to lead our teens and leaders into worship. We also occasionally fill in to lead our corporate worship services on Sundays.

We are currently rebuilding our student praise band and we NEED your talents! For more information, to sign up, or to get an application to join the band, contact Pastor Jason at

So, you're an adult (a.k.a. "old guy" or "old lady") and think you're ready to work with this crazy, loving, and awesome group of teenagers? Well, jump in!

Our adult leaders are the glue that holds this whole ministry together. If you want to impact the next generation of Jesus' followers then let's do this together. Every potential leader must submit to an interview, criminal background check, and annual child protection training. You need to demonstrate a heart for students and maintain a sense of humor - 'cause that's how we roll at REVOLUTION!

Each year we take students who have completed

grades 6-12 to Summer and Winter camps located throughout the southeastern United States. We partner with local churches and ministries to serve communities through sports, games & recreation, backyard Bible clubs & VBS, painting, construction & yard-work, personal evangelism as well as meeting many other site-specific needs!

Students that stick around in their faith long after graduating from high school are the students who SERVE! That's a truth we have seen time and time again at RBC and our missions camp is just one of many opportunities to get teens involved with thinking about & serving the needs of others.
